The Atelier
Elena and business partner Marcus complete “Star Line,” but before Paris Fashion Week he steals the source files, uses a contract trap to seize her intellectual property and studio, and lets media brand her a plagiarist. Her mentor Isabelle leaves her a key before dying, revealing her mother was a legendary couturier with hidden sketches in a Zurich trust. Elena burns her old identity, becomes V, and goes to New York. Three remade couture pieces shine at a charity preview. She launches Atelier V, online pre-sales explode, and she intercepts Marcus’s South France fabric. Marcus discovers V’s identity and starts a plagiarism war. At her New York debut, Elena reveals timestamped original sketches and a rose watermark in garment labels, exposing his theft and data tampering. Marcus is arrested and expelled from the industry. Investor Christian admires and loves Elena but briefly joins his mother Nora’s Ashford merger, causing a rift. Elena unites independent designers and donates fifty of her mother’s sketches at auction to create a foundation, protecting creators’ core assets and copyrights from capital takeover. Christian tears up the merger and publicly funds the foundation; Nora becomes a partner. Facing a pre-show hacker crisis, Elena manually restores designs and closes New York Fashion Week with “Nirvana,” beginning a new era of career triumph and emotional reconciliation.
