The Livestream Witch
A witch struck by thunder wakes in the body of Avery Quinn: disfigured at seven, driven out of the Quinn family, two million dollars in debt. She rents the apartment nobody wants, binds its five ghosts into stitched Spirit Dolls, and sets a card table on the street: three readings a day, three hundred dollars, no proof, no charge. Then her assistant puts her on camera, and the livestream witch is born. She takes a thirty-million-dollar estate as payment instead of a hundred million in cash, because that is where her mother died. Her father Victor stole a family's luck, gave her face to his other daughter, and had Mara Bell's heart stopped. She finds a missing boy no photograph will match, and lets them push a doll off a cliff so a killer confesses on tape. She walks into the family shrine and breaks the urn holding her mother's ashes. It is the wrong urn, and the vow meant to kill her burns the warlock who cast it. She takes her house back and reopens the table.
