Unmade
Celeste Voss, a respected high school math teacher, appears to have a stable marriage and a promising eighteen-year-old son. Behind that image, sexual boundaries between Celeste and Troy collapse, and Troy secretly shares an intimate photograph of her with his classmate Wayne. Using the image and a misleading photograph of Troy, Wayne threatens to destroy their reputations and college prospects. Celeste's attempt to protect her son traps her in escalating blackmail and sexual abuse, while Troy's guilt makes him vulnerable to further control. As her husband Dale begins to discover what has happened, the family's secrecy threatens to erupt into violence. An unexpected ally emerges in Wayne's mother, Darlene, who has preserved evidence of her own abuse. To break his hold, Celeste must expose the truth, confront the harm within her family, and accept that protecting her son cannot mean shielding him from accountability. Survival will require boundaries that neither of them can cross again.
